Overview
Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an experienced Research Associate. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelors degree in chemistry, biological sciences, biochemistry or related fields. Required experience includes LC-MS biological sample preparation involving a multi-step process to isolate, purify, and concentrate the analytes of interest for the LCMS analysis.

Responsibilities
--- Preparation of samples for mass spectrometry analysis
--- Design of experiments in collaboration with colleagues
--- Conduct analytical experiments and method development as needed
--- Identify and exploit new scientific concepts
--- Interpretation and documentation of experimental results
--- Communication of experimental results to team members
--- Maintaining high quality record in electronic lab notebook


Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
--- BS/MS degree in chemistry, biological sciences, biochemistry or related fields (NON-PhD)
--- Recent graduate

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
--- LC-MS biological sample preparation involving a multi-step process to isolate, purify, and concentrate the analytes of interest for the LCMS analysis
--- Operation of laboratory equipment
--- Works well both independently and as part of a team. Collaborative skills and effective partnering skills in a matrix-environment
--- Strong data organization, analysis, and communication skills

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
--- Standard laboratory operations: standing, walking, sitting, light lifting.
