Duration: May 21 to Jul 14
Pay Rate: $20.50/hr
Schedule: M-F 7a-3:30p



Education:
High School Diploma

Requirements:
Experience in care of animals preferred, but not necessary

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Sanitize and operate animal facility equipment, including the use of tunnel washers, rack washers, acidified watering systems and autoclaves for sterilization.
Assemble caging supplies in a manner that assures that they remain sterile throughout the handling process.
Maintain animal rooms (secondary enclosures) and facility hallways in a clean state so that secondary infections or other contaminations do not occur.
Use current technology including PDAs and bar code application to record daily cage census.
Report facility and environmental issues to the Facility Manager or designee.
Assist the Facility Manager or his/her designee with incoming animals and supplies.
Comply with CCM and client policies and standard operating procedures.
If there is interest an aptitude, there may be opportunities to perform daily husbandry work involving the handling of laboratory animals, including cage changing, health surveillance and rodent euthanasia.
Other duties as assigned.
