MV Transportation, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced General Manager to oversee our transportation operations, ensuring exceptional delivery of public transportation services across various modalities, including paratransit, fixed-route, shuttle, and school bus services. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a robust background in driving operational excellence, enhancing customer satisfaction, and leading large teams within the transportation and logistics industry. Oversee daily operations across multiple transportation services to ensure reliability and efficiency. Manage senior staff and oversee the training and development of a large team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational effectiveness, incorporating innovative technologies and methodologies. Ensure compliance with all government regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Manage budgeting and financial activities, including cost analysis and optimization. Collaborate with other department heads and stakeholders to align operational goals with the company’s strategic objectives. Enhance customer satisfaction through high service standards and effective resolution of escalated issues. Monitor performance metrics and implement adjustments to operations as necessary. Strong leadership and organizational skills Proven ability to manage large teams and develop staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Expertise in budget management and cost optimization In-depth knowledge of transportation logistics and regulatory requirements Ability to strategize and solve problems effectively Certified in Transportation and Logistics (CTL) PMP certification (Project Management Professional) preferred
