Global Partners LP, renowned for its extensive network in the energy sector, is seeking a skilled Baker to join the culinary team within our food service operations at our numerous gas stations across the Northeastern U.S. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a passion for baking and desire to contribute to the enhancement of our food offerings, ensuring quality and consistency in every batch. The Baker will be integral in introducing local, freshly-baked goods to complement our customer's dining experience, aligning with our commitment to exceptional service. Prepare a wide range of bakery items from scratch, such as breads, pastries, and special requests. Maintain inventory levels and order baking supplies as needed. Ensure adherence to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Collaborate with store managers to develop seasonal and special items. Manage baking times to coincide with peak customer hours to maximize freshness. Contribute to menu development and pricing strategies. Proficiency in various baking techniques and equipment Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently Creativity in crafting new and delicious bakery items Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Food Handler's Certificate Certification from a recognized culinary institution (preferred)
