Job Purpose:
Takes kitchen control of a fine dining establishment specializing in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. We are in business now for nearly 30 years. This is a full-time evening position.

Duties:
* Plans, orders and prepares food. Knowledge of various sauces and saute skills required, works the line. Plates, garnishes, and presents dishes in a timely and responsible manner. Assists other kitchen staff as needed.

* Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing food preparation standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

* Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes.

* Maintains customer confidence and satisfaction by responding to their requests; informing them of needed food and/or ingredient changes; maintaining a consultative relationship.

* Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
