working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in
Manchester, New Hampshire, 03102! Job Title: Registered Nurse

Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Med/Surg skillset, including
head-to-toe assessment. - Knowledge of orthopedic care. - IV
medication administration skills, including management of Lasix
drip, heparin drip, IVP metoprolol, diltiazem, and insulin IV or
subcutaneous. - Wound care experience, including drain management
and VACs. - NGT/G tube care and parenteral nutrition experience. -
Central line management skills (PICC, HD catheter, midlines). -
Foley, nephrostomy, and suprapubic catheter care. - Ostomy care
experience. - Postoperative patient care skills. Description: This
position involves working in a 48-bed medical-surgical unit with an
average census of 27 patients. The patient ratios are 1:5 during
the day and 1:6 at night. The unit is supported by one unit
secretary from 7 AM to 11 PM, with patient care technicians
available at a ratio of 1:10-15. Occasional 1:1 coverage may be
required with a patient care technician or patient safety
technician. Types of equipment used on the unit include Hoyer
lifts, automated blood pressure machines, bladder scanners, remote
telemetry monitoring, and vein finders. Documentation is managed
through the Altera/Allscripts Sunrise system. Scheduling requires
availability for every other weekend and preference for 12-hour
shifts. There is a floating policy in place to similar
medical-surgical units, with travelers generally floating first.
Participation in daily multi-disciplinary rounds is required on day
shifts from Monday to Friday. Candidates should work
collaboratively with a team to promote patient care excellence. The
