Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Acute Care for a local contract nursing job in Hartford, Connecticut. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Post?Anesthesia Nurse (PACU RN) for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Hartford, CT. Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 5x8: 7:30am-4pm. /n - Provide individualized, emotionally supportive post?operative nursing care in accordance with anesthesiologist and attending physician instructions. /n - Monitor and document patient vital signs, airway status, pain level, and level of consciousness per PACU protocols. /n - Assist anesthesiologists and attending physicians during post?operative recovery as needed. /n - Document all nursing activities thoroughly, including writing a discharge note once the anesthesiologist clears the patient for transfer. /n - Ensure all PACU equipment and supplies are stocked, functional, and readily available. /n - Maintain a safe environment and respond promptly to changes in patient condition. /n /n Job Requirements: /n - EPIC experience required. /n /n - Level I trauma experience preferred. /n /n - BLS. /n /n - PALS. /n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
