will go through our IVS\r\n\r\nShift: Days (M-F 8am - 4:30) 36 hrs
per week. We operationalize this as 5 - 8 hour days one week and 4
the next week \r\n\r\nJob Purpose \r\nNeed someone with solid NICU
CCN exp \r\nThe qualified candidate will function in the
intertwined roles of change agent, mentor,\r\nfacilitator of
learning, leader, advocate for the clinical nurse educator
specialty, champion of scientific inquiry, and partner for role
transitions drawing on adult learning theories, experience,
knowledge and evidence-based practice to transform clinical nursing
practice.\r\n\r\nQualifications/Experience\r\nGraduate of an
accredited school of nursing with a current MA RN Licensure\r\nMSN
required\r\nCertified ANCC in Nursing Professional Development
strongly preferred\r\nCurrent AHA certification in BLS\r\nNRP and
ACLS required\r\nNRP Fetal Monitoring instructor
preferred.\r\nExperienced in meeting the core competency standards
of nursing professional development practice as set forth by the
Association for Nursing Professional Development
required.\r\n\r\nExamples of the Nursing Professional Development
standards include\r\n1 Assessment: collecting data and information
related to educational needs\r\nIdentification of issues and trends
analyzes issues\r\n2. Outcome Identification develops expected
measurable outcomes that reflect competence, learning
and\r\npractice change\r\n3. Planning prepares content reflective
of current evidence using adult learning theory to meet a
target\r\naudience that is in accordance with accrediting agency
requirements\r\n4.Facilitates a positive learning environment to
meet the gaps between academia and clinical
practice,\r\nconsultation to influence plans, enhance the abilities
of others and effect positive nursing practice changes\r\n5.
Evaluation using reliable and relevant methods and instruments to
measure processes and outcomes,\r\nrevises learning activities and
disseminates the evaluation results of learning
activities\r\n6.Champions scientific inquiry, generates new
knowledge and integrates evidence into clinical practice
to\r\nenhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing
practice\r\n7. Acts as a change agent through the development of

Continuing Care Nursery CCN nursing experience required. Advanced
skills in maternal child nursing practice\r\nincluding fetal
monitoring, cardiac arrhythmia identification, titration of IV
medications, managing pain relief\r\nmodalities specifically with
epidurals, managing laboring patients requiring acute
interventions, experienced\r\nin the operating room both in the
roles of circulator and scrub nurs Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
