Aveanna Healthcare, a leader in home health services, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team. This role is crucial in aiding our patients at home to enhance their recovery and maintain their independence. Our Home Health Aides provide essential support by assisting with daily living activities, basic medical care, and ensuring a safe environment for patients with various health conditions. Assist patients with daily personal tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Provide basic healthcare services like checking vital signs and administering medication as instructed Support a variety of client mobility issues, including transfers and light exercises Record patient’s progress and communicate it to the nursing team Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments if needed Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Basic medical knowledge, including understanding of hygiene and sanitation Ability to follow prescribed healthcare plans Comfortable using medical software and tools Physical stamina and the ability to lift or move patients Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) preferred
