Job Description:
Catholic Medical Center invites applications for the position of
Electrophysiology Lab Technologist. As part of our dedicated heart
care team, this role is pivotal in supporting diagnostic tests and
therapeutic interventions within our state-of-the-art
electrophysiology labs. The successful candidate will be integral
in managing the operation of sophisticated electrophysiology
equipment and assisting in procedures that diagnose and treat
cardiac arrhythmias. This role requires a highly skilled individual
committed to patient-centered care and excellence in cardiovascular
health services. Operate and maintain complex electrophysiology
equipment during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Monitor
patient responses to treatments and report critical information to
the attending physician. Ensure strict adherence to safety
protocols and hygiene standards. Assist with the setup and
execution of electrophysiology studies and cardiac ablations.
Record and maintain accurate patient data and procedure logs.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic
patient care. Proficiency in the use of electrophysiology equipment
and software. Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology,
and pathophysiology. Excellent technical skills and attention to
detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a high-stress
environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or Registered
Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) preferred. BLS
and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
required.
