PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Worcester, Massachusetts, 01608! Job Title:

Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 12-14 Weeks Shift: 0645-1530 Hours per
Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current
Registered Nurse License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS),
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) recommended Must-Have:
- Minimum of 1 year of PACU or Pre-Op nursing experience
Description: The Registered Nurse in the PACU will be responsible
for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care for
assigned patients on a per shift basis. This role includes
supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. The
Registered Nurse is accountable for supporting the Chief Nursing
Officer in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing
care. The role also involves competency management of clinical
staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
Shifts in the operating room consist of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts.
The nurse will participate in the call rotation; this includes
first and second call responsibilities during the week and one
weekend day every other month. Dedicated scrubs will be provided
for travelers. Travelers are to wear the same color scrubs as the
staff. This position is not in a trauma facility. 5 Benefits of
