Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 32 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shifts available are 4 10-hour days from 0645 to 1715 or 3 12-hour days from 0645 to 1915. Flexibility is required to meet unit and patient care needs, including one or two calls during the weekdays and one full weekend of call every 5 weeks. Job Description The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced environment. Experience in cardiovascular and open heart procedures is vital as the RN may be required to float to other operating room suites such as general, ortho, neuro, and ENT. Applicants should be comfortable with high-acuity cases and have a strong ability to work within an academic teaching hospital. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - BLS certification required; CNOR preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an OR RN with high competency in cardiovascular/open heart surgery. - Epic experience from within the past 2 years is nonnegotiable. - Prior travel experience is required. - Experience in a large (500 beds), academic, teaching hospital is required.
