Who We Are:The Fuller -unit is a 55-60 -bed, Post-Surgical and Trauma -Unit with approximately 160 employees. -The average patient census is 34-38 with a focus on adult post-surgical (total knee and hip replacement), telemetry, stroke, and general medical. Our Fuller Unit -provides -an outstanding supportive environment and advanced training for its staff. -Elliot Hospital is -designated as an -Orthopaedic Center of Excellence!About the Job:Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivers care to patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex utilizing the nursing process. Creates a therapeutic and caring environment for patient and families. Practices in a manner consistent with the Elliot Hospital Interprofessional Practice model; the ANA's Social Policy Statement, Scope and Standards of Practice, and the Nursing Code of Ethics; and relevant specialty standards of practice.What You'll Do:

• Embraces and promotes change to support optimal patient outcomes and an effective professional practice environment.
• Involves patient/family in goal setting and planning, and communicates that plan of care to patient and family for input; and to colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings.
  • Utilizes current evidence and relevant national/specialty standards to guide practice and/or performance and identifies areas for improvement.
  • Demonstrates competent clinical practice utilizing clinical decision making and critical thinking skills.Who You Are:
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ASN Required with active enrolled in BSN enrollment in a program (signed BSN commitment form needed). BSN Preferred.
    • Graduate Nurse status is designated for those individuals who hold temporary licensure to practice under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This status is maintained from date of hire until the issuance of a permanent license by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
    • Ability to obtain BCLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.
    • Nurses are expected to pursue professional certification upon eligibility or within three years of entering the specialty practice.
