Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Services, the Anticoagulation Clinic Supervisor is responsible for oversight as a working supervisor in the Betty Winter Anticoagulation Management Center. Provides clinical services to patients around anticoagulant agents ensuring appropriate medication use with necessary laboratory monitoring. Supervises all nurse and pharmacist employees that work in the clinic. Supports the pharmacy residency program. Works independently with limited supervision. Develops and promotes collaborative and collegial relationships with medical staff and other allied health clinical staff. Minimum Qualifications:Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or B.S. in Pharmacy or a Pharm.D. degree is required.
  -Experience:
  • 2 years in an outpatient clinic is preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience is desiredLicensure and/or Certification:
    • Active licensed Registered Nurse or Registered Pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (or eligible for reciprocity) is required
    • BLS healthcare provider required.
    • Completion of a certificate program in Anticoagulation Management within one year of hireSkills: -
      • Excellent customer service skills.
      • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
      • Computer skills required.
      • Ability to maintain confidential information.
