Job Description:
Technical Services Repair Technician Full cycle processing of
return material authorization (RMA) for equipment (electronics &
mechanical); receive incoming RMAs to the database. • Diagnose,
troubleshoot and in-house bench repair of returned electronics
equipment. • Communicate with customers as needed to process all
paperwork related to telephone support and repairs, including
confirmation of items returned, purchase orders, payment
information and return shipping. 2 years’ experience in a technical
support or service position. • Demonstrated experience of
technician-level proficiency in analog and digital electronics
circuits – including, but not limited to, Ohm’s Law, series, and
parallel circuits, simple semi-conductor, analog and digital IC
circuits. • Experience troubleshooting printed circuit boards to
component level. • Must be comfortable with hands-on benchwork,
including soldering and rework. • Experience reading and
interpreting schematics, block diagrams and bills of materials. •
Computer literate with Windows applications (Word, Excel),
familiarity with ERP system, Syteline experience a plus. Ability to
carry out multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
and make decisions in real time with minimal supervision.
