safe.BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support
microelectronics module manufacturing at our site in Nashua, NH.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or
the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of
this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This
means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility
100% of the time.In this role, you will:
Provide leadership to a team of 2nd
shift inspectors that will report directly to you.Provide quality
control support to the microelectronics module manufacturing value
stream, with a focus on the inspection operations.Utilize quality
control data to help drive innovative improvements that will reduce
cost and increase efficiency without compromising product
integrity.Reinforce compliance to the AS9100 Quality Management
System (QMS) by supporting audits and continuous improvement
efforts.Who you are:

Experience leading individual
contributors who are working towards common goalsExperience
supporting a manufacturing environment and providing effective
communications to cross-functional teamsExperience with Quality
Management SystemsProficiency with MS office applications including
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and a desire to learn new
systemsExhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing,
coordinating and negotiating with others.Ability to make decisions
using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures,
ethical principles and applicable state and federal laws and
regulationsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of
experience or 8 years of experience in lieu of degreeSupported
production quality control (QC) teams within an electronics
manufacturing environment certified to AS9100Previous role in a
Quality function governed by military and aerospace standards
Ability to apply, interpret and/or advise teams on quality, process
documentation and workmanship requirements for product realization
and inspection of components, assemblies and subassemblies.Ability
to utilize various inspection tools such as Vernier's, microscopes,
gauges, etc. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems activities
including auditing and continuous improvementIdentification,
control and disposition of discrepant material with an
understanding of Preliminary Material Review/Material Review Board
(PMR/MRB)Execution of First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance
with AS9102 requirements.Working Knowledge and understanding of
military electronics standards like IPC-A-610, J-STD-001,
MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750, or MIL-PRF-38534Familiarity with
technology insertion within an electronics manufacturing
environment using existing technologies like Automated Optical
Inspection (AOI) and/or developing innovative processes.Execution
of root cause/corrective action tools (8D, 5 Whys, Cause and
effect, fault trees)Familiarity of APQP/AS9145 processes, including
PFMEA and PPAPSupported manufacturing in cleanroom, ESD and FOD
controlled areasCertification demonstrating understanding and usage
of quality sciences (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, CQE)Non-conformance
identification, control and evaluation utilizing systems like
Solumina, TipQA, DataView and TableauUnderstanding of engineering
drawing dimensions and tolerances (ANSI 14.5 GD&T)Familiarity
with government contractor labor tracking using systems like
AutotimeAbility to extract, read and interpret technical data
packages, engineering drawings, parts lists, Bill of Materials,
component specifications, Military Standards and Process
SheetsAbility to extract data for visual presentations (using
charts, tables, paretos, etc.) to effectively communicate

Salary Range: $92290 - $156860Please note: This range is based on
our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are
determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
business considerations, local market conditions, and internal
equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills,
