Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher
of the Visually Impaired certification and 1 years Teacher of the
Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A school in Boston, MA
is seeking a dedicated educator specialized in teaching students
with visual impairments. This position involves working closely
with visually impaired students to support their educational growth
and development. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement
individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to visually impaired
students needs Adapt classroom materials and teaching strategies to
enhance accessibility Collaborate with classroom teachers,
families, and support staff to ensure comprehensive support Provide
direct instruction and assistive technology training for visually
impaired students Monitor student progress and adjust teaching
approaches accordingly Participate in meetings, professional
development, and travel as needed Qualifications: Certification or
licensure as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Experience
working with students who have visual impairments in an educational
setting Strong communication skills and ability to work
collaboratively with diverse teams Flexibility and willingness to
