Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for contributing to the marketing and sales of
MathWorks sophisticated engineering products to university
customers; designing and developing sophisticated software product
models and simulations to demonstrate MathWorks product
capabilities in education and research; developing technical
engineering demonstrations of MathWorks modeling, simulation and
analysis software to support the companys industry marketing
activities to the university sector; partnering with university
customers to understand their technical and business challenges;
identifying how MathWorks products can help address customer
challenges in education and research; demonstrating the value of
MATLAB and Simulink to grow customer adoption in curriculum,
research and commercial projects; and promoting topics, including:
computational thinking, coding to learn, the use of MathWorks'
products in industry, and the benefits of teaching and learning
MATLAB skills. Requires frequent travel and on short notice. Education and Experience: Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and one (1) year of experience in
job offered or one (1) year of experience in development or
technical customer support and writing of MATLAB. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB, C/C++, and
Python. Demonstrated expertise using the Signal Processing Toolbox,
Image Processing Toolbox, Data Acquisition Toolbox, Statistics and
Machine Learning Toolbox, and MATLAB for data analysis,
interpretation, visualization, image and signal processing, and
computer vision. Demonstrated expertise publishing engineering articles and
presenting work at conferences or technical workshops. Demonstrated expertise delivering technical engineering concepts
including MATLAB training to students, faculty, and researchers in
